Deposits are to secure your appointment and are applied to your total. Jewelry cost is separate and can start in the $20-35 range and can increase into the hundreds depending on size, shape, material and piercing type.

All tattoos are based on the amount of work which roughly equals out to $200/hour with a absolute minimum of $100. Certain factors can vary such as more delicate or stretchy parts of the body may cost a little more than the same piece on a limb. I will always give a price estimate and I can work with a budget if requested but a finalized price will not be set until after the design is printed as a stencil in final size and detail.
All appointments require a $50 deposit that will be put towards the total cost of the tattoo. Deposits can be refunded ONLY with a 48 hour cancellation notice. You may also reschedule 1 time and move the deposit forward but a second cancellation does not qualify for a refund. Deposits can be received via Cash App, Venmo or in person at the studio as cash or card.
Creative freedom is appreciated but with custom designs please be SURE to include as much detail as possible and any references so I have the closest idea in mind to yours. If you would like a tattoo chosen for you I have plenty of premade designs and flash or a gumball machine you can spin for $125. The final design will not be shown to you until the day of your appointment. Modifications to a design can always be made day of but any major changes or change of design completely will need to be rescheduled which your deposit is good for 1 time.
Each tattoo’s healing stage will depend on several variables unique to its own experience, such as type of skin (i.e. placement on the body, age, hydration, genetics, ect), type of ink, type of needles, technique, and duration of the tattooing process. It is up to each artist to do the math and base the aftercare on the equation of the individual tattooing session. In considering that ー PLEASE DO NOT apply anyone else’s aftercare to my tattoos or attempt to replace another artist’s instructions for their tattoos with mine. The science is unique to every artist and every session. I do not tattoo genitalia, eyeballs, eyelids or insides of mouths or any permanent makeup.
No hate speech, discriminatory or gang affiliated tattoos or language will be tolerated. Sexual harassment of myself or anyone else in the studio will get you booted out with no refund or reschedules and potentially an unfinished tattoo.
Show up sober, hygienic and on time.
There is a 15 minute safe window, later than that without informing me is a cancelled appointment.
Bring your ID, hydration, phone charger and anything else you might need.
HYDRATE AND EAT BEFORE HAND. Getting tattooed hungry is a big cause of passing out! Cash is preferred but I take Cash App and Venmo as well.

Our Client Reviews
5 stars is not enough for the experience I received at this business!! Amber was so so wonderful I’d give her a million stars if I could. All around the most professional experience I’ve received for a piercing ever. I felt 100% comfortable the entire time I received my service. My piercing and jewelry were fit custom to my anatomy and needs. Very clean shop, very wonderful atmosphere. I will absolutely be back!
We have visited Amber several times for our piercing needs. Handles minor child ear piercings with care and comfort, and a few giggles. SUPER CLEAN is an understatement. Now my little girl has gotten bigger, she has a few more expertly performed piercings as well as a few new ones myself. The quality of her jewelry makes a huge difference in healing and longevity in wear. They are BEAUTIFUL! We have purchased some 14k pieces too. The only place our family will visit.
Be the Change is the best shop I’ve ever gone to for piercings, and will be the only one I go to from here on out. The owner, Amber, is extremely knowledgeable in her craft, and made me feel comfortable and taken care of during the whole process for every piercing I’ve had done by her. Not only that, they make so many different efforts to give back to the community. Thanks y’all!
I took my 9-year-old daughter to get her pierced ears. Amber was so kind and patient with her when she questioned if she was ready to get her ears pierced. Ultimately, she chose she was ready and has loved her pierced ears. Amber was thorough with follow-up care education and we have had no signs of infection or issues with healing. We have also loved the earrings used have a flat back which makes sleeping more comfortable. I highly recommend Amber to anyone looking to get a piercing, but especially for kids.
